Internet Coverage in villages around Cuevas

Hi there. Instelnet is really the only provider in this area. We live next to the village of Los Lobos and have their maximum 10 mGb. We have television via a satellite dish, but there are residents who use IPTV, which in the main provides the service successfully. If you find a successful alternative do let me know, but I think it's unlikely. 

If anyone suggests Next please do think twice!

Tha is for the info. I have already been in contact with Instelnet they offer 12mb for 36€. They have I formed that no one else provides more.

We currently use WiMax 30mb which costs slightly less than the 12mb offered.

I have asked WiMax if their coverage in the area is any good as it seems a  much better offer at the moment 

Sorry, yes, we have 12 mGb. Let me know how you go with Wimax if you would, please, but I doubt they service as far as Los Lobos. Many thanks. 

We have Next and are in Los Lobos.  Works well for us.

That's good, Maggie. Our residents here on Cherribar have experienced difficulties from time to time. 

Don’t expect much from Instelnet

We have 12 mb but it is not enough

Constant buffering and in bad weather unwatchable

Next are no better

It really depends of where you are; villages like Palomares seem to have generally good coverage, but again it depends.on where your property is situated; for example, I live in an area within the Cuevas region, but there is a hill behind me making the signal difficult. As well as Instalnet, WiMAX etc there is Indalo Channel also in the area. My understanding (but don’t quote me) is the antenna is shared by networks, and in reality you can never get the amount of Mbs constantly, whatever you pay.
