Northern Ireland is not a country it's made up of 6 counties it's called a province.

Northern Ireland is 6 counties in United Kingdom, the other 3 counties which make up the province of Ulster are in the Republic

Interesting this morning re quarantine on arrival into uk, does not apply to lorry drivers, and now stated cross channel arrivals from France. France has offerred reciprocation on arrivals from uk. BBC news can it be trusted, and will this be extended throughout europe in accordance with EU aliance.

Well if you want it straight and truthfully no you can't be coming down here, keep the raging virus in the UK where they have never bothered to enforce the lockdown,so in that case don't bring it here where we have been tried to contain it for the past two months... As for financial and maintenance problems the owners should have anticipated that scenario

I totally agree too there would not have been a lockdown in the UK when it was but Macron told BoJo to get his house in order or he would ban Brits from France. I watched his broadcast last night it was as clear as mud total confusion. Bojo read classics at university so I am sure he can recite Homer or work out his breakfast in Latin leadership he is one big joke!!

Hi Darren....We are in a similar....but a little bit more complex situation.....We bought in Los Gallardos at Christmas....and came back to rent out our home here as we intend to get Spanish Residencia.....this could not be done before we left as all appointments were cancelled due to Brexit....W...

...e came back here and signed off our home as a rental, only to find within days that we can't get back to Spain....So are homeless! As I say we do not have residencia.....only the deeds/ bank account and S1's....We are living in a friends small studio above a garage, and our furniture is in Storage......There have been no cases of Covid near to us, and everyone is behaving and staying in doors....BUT we can not find out whether we can return with our belongings!!!! Someone mentioned on a site that we could come and self isolate for 14 days....but how will that work when we have to bring back the empty van??? !!!! Then fly back to where our car is in Alicante. No sense from anywhere about getting back so I feel for you....

Hi, we are in the same situation. We have sold and moved out of our UK home the week of lockdown!!

We were worried about getting there before the end of the year to get our residency (Brexit) We now can’t give our removal company a New date and our Ferry keeps getting cancelled. They have now cancelled up to and including 1st June!

If you have any more information please share? I have registered on Gov website for email updates on travel to Spain if that helps you?

Can’t give POA for Residencia - you must attend in person at Almería Oficina de Extranjería for that.
