Hi

Thank you this is great information as you really don't know if you are doing the right thing when it's such a big move. We have both just got the all clear from prostrate and breast cancer so are retiring early because we have been given a second chance to live a nice life. Getting really excited about it.

We have sold up in the uk and moved to Partaloa we don’t get our pension yet either. We have done it as well for health reasons. This will be our first summer here away from the rain and horrid uk weather. 😂

nice to know were not the only ones moving without a state pension. Where is Partaloa, not familiar with this name? It doesn't feel real yet that it could actually happen but the move is on the cards for next May when we've got our finances sorted.

Partaloa looks to be north west of Albox ?, We live in a small village called Urcal, close by Huercal Overa and featured a few times recently on A Place in the Sun.

I can recall looking at a lovely villa in Partaloa but without much research rejected it for being too far out of our ideal search area.

Hope you have fun finding your ideal place, partner bought this lovely villa and added a large flyfree/enclosure over the patio and pool, we love the peace and tranquility of the place, you'll make friends easily enough.

Regards, Ann and Jim
