Hola!

Looking for recommendations please for private healthcare for the first 12 months to obtain residencia/TIE (and anyone to avoid) - we're a self-employed couple in 40s/50s.  We're happy with the quote from ASSSA but not sure if its the best option for us, and so far our only quote.

Cheers,

Rach

Hi we have just signed up with Sanitas, the policy is Sanitas Mas Salud Family, for a couple 52 and 59, 1950 for a year, no copays and includes dental.

Hi

Avoid Aegon like the plague

Was recommended Aegon through Santander bank and they are not cheap

When I needed medical attention I could not access the phone lines

Had to pay private again to be seen etc

I am in dispute with them now

I will not be renewing my and my husbands health insurance with them .😡

Hi, we were in our early and late 50's and went through ASSSA with Carly Flitney's help as she also arranged our residencia.  At the time we found ASSSA to be the cheapest/easiest option as were not keen on DKV which was a similar price. As long as you pay for 12 months up front and have the receipts.  As ASSSA runs from Jan to Dec it was split so had 2 receipts making the 12 months total required.  If you are not aware of Carly she is very helpful and will give no obligation quotes for everything.  Email address for Carly and mention Andy & Jane if you wish:
