Hi, we are moving to Arboleas on 1st December, Frank has coeliac disease so can't eat anything with gluten or wheat in it. Is there a Coeliac Society in Almeria like the UK or any other suffers living near Arboleas who can offer advice re shopping or eating out would be appreciated.

Hi, I also am Coeliac and recently moved to Vera from the U.K. I've found it very easy to live here with this condition and find that all restaurants are very geared up for us Coeliacs, even understanding dedicated fryers. Mercadona and Dia supermarkets have gluten free products always in stock. Hope this helps..............

Many thanks for your reply, we were a bit concerned about shopping and restaurants but feels more confident about things now. Looking forward to moving in December.

Please don't worry as I find it much easier to eat out here than I ever did back in the U.K. And vitamin D in abundance !
