Happy New Year to everyone.

My husband is due for Surgery at Virgen del mar hospital in Almería, beginning of January, my question is does anyone know if visitors are allowed, he will be in for approximately 5 to 7 days.

Thank you for your reply, I haven't been able to get through to the hospital, I thought I'd ask if anyone knew on forum.

Hi there,

Thank you for the message.

We are at the hospital now. For anyone else needing to know, I am allowed stay with my hubby. So yes visitors are allowed (one at a time)   and as you rightly said it is in my opinion too, a very good hospital, staff are excellent, food is good (different) but good. 😊 My husbands surgery went very well, thank god. Hospital feels more like hotel! Very quiet peaceful they even knock before they come in😁. All in all a good place to be IF you needed a hospital. I feel sorry for friends and family in Ireland who cannot even get a face to face meeting with a Doctor, disgraceful what the government has and continues to do to its people.
