Hi there,

I'm in Arboleas visiting my mum who's just had a hip replacement after a fall. I'm hoping to buy her a good lifting recliner so she's comfortable. Can anyone recommend furniture shops in the area (I'm willing to travel a bit!) that might have something like this?

Any other advice on getting stuff required for home adaptations after a hip replacement is much appreciated!

Thank you!

Thanks very much, we actually visited them today and they were super helpful with things like walkers and crutches!

I had a fall 20 years ago and busted my hip (easiest operation for the medics, but challenging for thr patient). My recovery was helped by a basic garden reclining chair. So, no need to spend big money and nearly every Chinese shop sells them for around €70.00. Have no doubt, I recommend your mom uses such a recliner.

Hi Matthew, that's a great idea and sounds like it might be the way to go! Thanks for sharing your experience.
