Hi David and Sandie glad you found a place to live.we have found our new home in Arboleas. and hoping to move out there middle to end of April.we will be glad to meet up and talk through our experiences and yours.when do you think you'll get there ?

Two ways to get uk tv

A satellite dish if you have room using a sky box or an Openbox from ebay.

You will then get freesat channels incl bbc itv channel two three four and five etc some in hd.

Or buy an Android TV box, which will be capable of receiving all sky channels free.

You will need a reasonable internet connection of about 10 mbps poss 30€  per month. It is not necessary to then pay up to 180€ per year by subscribing to an iptv service which will be no better than setting up your own Android box which you will not have to pay for reception.

I have both systems. I get uk tv in hd off my dish and I use the Android box for films documentaries and sports.

Hi just seen your post regarding an Android box to receive Sky TV and more, does it matter if you buy the Android box in Spain or the UK? Sorry if that seem a silly question but ai do not know much about this.

Hi, no it does not matter where you buy in UK or Spain. They tend to be a little dearer here because of importing either privately from uk or in bulk from China.

Octocore (8) processors are the latest these boxes sell in the Uk from 60 - 100£ depending on where you buy them from. Entertainmentbox or eBay, just read the feedback before ordering.

I have ordered mine from eBay and delivered to Spain without problems.

Thank you for this, can I just confirm that to get all the channels I.e. sky, sports, films etc I need an Analogue box and Internet.  I assume you just connect the analogue box to the internet and your TV. Sorry for all the questions.
