Now, Hopalong. If ever you wish to go down the Old Bog Road to collect an Irish Passport in your name, you'll have to get a few things straight:-
1. It's Green, White and Orange. The green represents how naive (innocent) we Paddys are.
2. The White means that at first shot, we surrender peacefully and the colour of most sheets in our bedrooms.
3. The Orange shows our love of naranjas (translation for the Panama Hat Brigade = oranges) as most of us are destined for Spain for more continuous residence than 90 days.
There is a minority of people mistaking the orange colour for gold. You see there is some gold colouring on all our whiskey bottle labels. (I'm just offering an explanation of perhaps why!).
To alleviate any concerns about you becoming Irish, you can still hate Megan Markle.* You can continue to vote Tory too (Jazus! I'm getting worse).
*becoming a prequesite. (Irish people are not the best of spelling either) pre-requesit, pre-requesite . . . pre-whatever!!!!!!!
