Is Switzerland a possible stopover stay in-between 90-day in Spain. It's not EU but Schengen zone?

As Alicia says, Switzerland is Schengen. To fulfill obligation of being out of the Schengen for an equivalent period once 90 days is reached, you cannot enter or stay in any of the 26 countries that are in the Schengen Zone - Turkey is somewhere you could go as they are neither EU nor Schengen.
