Hi,
We will be moving to Almanzora coming august and are very interested in gardendesign. What would be the best gardencentets to go to?

There is a big garden centre as you turn off the autopista towards Antas, but for more individual fun finds there is also a very knowledgable and multilingual gentleman selling a selection of plants at a good prices just as you enter the Amigos market the far end from Albox. This happens on Saturday mornings.

Hi, there is also the garden centre next to Longos but we tend to use the one at Antas as well. If you carry on past the Antas one at the next roundabout take the first turn off and there is another garden centre 100m on the right.
Be careful what you buy though as August is the hottest month, if you are here permanently you would be better waiting until mid September or early October.
Good luck,
Paul.

Thanks for the info and yes i am fully aware that august is not the month to start of new plants here…..
I will be busy getting everything else organised first anyway so oktober/ november would be the time to get started with the garden. As it is mostly terraced i will be working with pots and raised beds for the pkants mostly.
