Bottle gas hot water query
Can anyone tell us, preferably a plumber or gas technician, why our shower suddenly decides to go cold mid shower? There is plenty of gas in the bottle?

Cold nights reduced the pressure inside the bottle. You could try to insulate the bottle, and remember to insulate all visible pipes.
We decided to get an electric tank (WiFi control) , heated by solar panels during the day which gives plenty of hot water in the morning.
we had the same problem as you, the water heater was a Junkers water heater, we got the company who fitted it to come back and fix the problem all their plumber did was to remove a sensor fitted in the top of the boiler unit and he said that would fix it. Sorry to say it didn't so we then had the boiler removed and an electric heater installed that works for us. Also the boiler used to cut out in the summer as well as the winter periods with full or half empty gas cylinders fitted.

Try reducing water temperature on dial at front of boiler. If water is too hot the sensor is trigerred and cuts off gas supply internally. When cooled resets itself.

Thanks to the responders. A very nice man called Daniel came out from Fontarboleas and fixed it for us. Yes it is a Junkers and they sell them there. To the other poster looking for a boiler repair man, I would suggest asking at a plumbing supply place like Fontarboleas.

When I ever get my boiler working again, I have exactly the same problem.
Lots of little things really, including the temperature boing too high and the wrong sort of shower sprayer. Fingers crossed it still seems absolutely fine.
That’s interesting as we have the same issue. Can I ask what temperature your boiler is set to?
Ours is a Junkers too, installed this year. We did get the guy back who fitted it. He fiddled about & told us not to touch the flow control (we never would), but it still goes cold mid shower. It’s annoying as we had it fitted due to electric being so expensive.
Today, the main large shower head only delivers cold water, but the shower attachment still delivers warm. This is a separate issue which I think is the thermostat in the shower itself.
