The completion of our house is on Wednesday. Can anyone recommend a home and contents insurance please, our solicitor has just opened us a bank account and they have given us a quote but it seems expensive, we have not moved over to Spain yet.

We use Glen Unwin from Liberty Seguros in Albox for our villa and contents insurance we have a 3 bed detached villa with a pool and our quote was approx €250 anually but we don't have accidental damage.

Totally agree …… very competitive for “like for like” quotes.
If you are with Cajamar bank they provide a very competetive like-for-like rate. Also in past 10yrs their claims response has been v.good.
