Mosquito situation in Almeria

I would also like to know what the mozzy situation is near Albox before buying a property. I lived in almunacar for a short while where i was staying up in the hills had chronic problem of house flies all the time during the day and mozzies in the evening. After that experience i think it's an important consideration.

Hardly saw any last year, plus depends if have water such as a bolsa nearby.  It varies from year to year and where you are situated as 1km down the road may have loads and you have very few.  Not really noticed any more here in last 3 years than had back in the UK.  There are various products here to supposedly keep them away from rooms/home.

Ok thanks for that all depends on where you are i guess as far as houseflies are concerned and look out for water when looking  at a property for sale.Do most people use mozzyy screens in your area? Can you sit out at night without being bothered by them?

Have screens on all the windows, most people do as more to keep flies out as they are a right pest at times.  Some people have their porches fly screened but we haven't experienced the need to do that.  Again really depends where your house is situated, time of year, nearby pig farms etc...  We have two properties, one in Oria approx. 22km from Albox the other is on the edge of Albox in Hortichuela.

Ok thanks for your help i guess your never going to get everything you want there always drawbacks to advantages I'm here in frozen Wiltshire where everything is white when i look outside and i have the heating going all the time. I do get lots of flies here in summer as it's an agricultural area so i know about animals and flies.
