Go to the place almost opposite Longos, on other side of the road. The one with the huge pile. Nice helpful guy, explain what you want, they deliver load to you. 

Or the garden center next door to longos.

And if you need it for a log burner throughout the winter get a full load of olive wood to start with.

Dont use the mixed with roots, yes cheap but poor and dirty

Opposite Longos is a good place to get your wood.  Just don't keep it indoors in a nice basket as it often has woodworm!
