Unfortunately yes, water electric are often disrupted by building works etc,the Spanish dont have a plan as to where services are located OR they dont care just dig ths bit up.

I am currently in Albania and we just had 4 short power cuts reminds me of the early days in spain

Normal part of life here in Spain, low water pressure or none at all, electric can be the same but usually more weather related, internet disruptions.  Can be frustrating at times but it is the norm in Spain.

Agree with Andy just one of the joys of Spain, what use to annoy me was that even if the disruption was planned they never give you any notice, just leave you high and dry. (excuse the pun).

Depends where you are in Albox, any works going on near your location?  Town hall would be able to tell you except closed now.

Have you looked on the Galasa Web site, they normally list planned stoppages...

As others have said, fairly normal. We always have 1 or 2 5liter bottles in store. However, us and several of our neighbours, friends, have invested in tanks, ranging from 500l to 3000l, with pumping system. Now we have water for several days in case of stoppage, and the pump ensures regular  pressure for our showers, a power-shower compared to the past.

No water in Levante area of Almeria since 9am today, off for 8 hours last Friday as well. We have 8 litre water bottles standing in the bathrooms.

Its still better than those poor people in Ukraine tho.....
