...onably albeit " the truth" coz they said so.( list not in chronoligal order)
Mao, Stalin, Lenin,Hitler, pol pot, Genghis and kubla khan, most of the roman emperors, noruega,Pinochet,Kim jun whatever, Vlad the impaler, longshanks and following offspring, Leopold of Belgium, Franco, Mussolini, castro, sadam hussain, gadaffi, kohmeni, maduro, chaochescu, and more that's listable. Dario is right. No government would ever lie, torture, kill their own citizens. He's right that Reagan was wrong, he is RIGHT about everything .also research the UN report that said communist/socialist governments killed an estimated 250 million of their own citizens in the 20th century alone.
But remember I'm not trying to alarm anyone just reiterating Dario's distopian view, that he wants to share with you in trusting your government on everything coz obviously sadistic psycopaths don't exist and never have. Oh and let's not forget bush senior and junior and their WMD proper gander that proved to be a lie,Tony Blair and Obama (sorry my bad he already got his Nobel peace prize)
Fact, history is full of total nutters and the future will be too
I forgot to mention Hillary!!!

Happy Wednesday people
If you enjoy this kind of debate (and why not?) why not just email each other direct, or meet up, or telephone or tweet - if you think many people are interested you could start a special forum and tell us here how to join it?
Jen, there is enough gloom and despondency around at the moment nobody really wants to listen to your rubbish. So if you can't say something nice do us all a favour and take yourself off this website please. Totally agree with Jack yes we do live in a beautiful country and we are very lucky.

The reason that I joined this forum a couple of years ago was that it was friendly, informative, helpful and above all unlike many other local forums it was free of attention seeking idiots starting arguments by posting confrontational clap trap.
Sadly things have changed in recent months due to a very small minority of contributors with too much time on their hands, hiding behind a keyboard just winding people up.
Alex,
Referring to an earlier post about Guardian articles, isn't it about time you explained your position within this forum to JEN JEN and then booted her off?
And then maybe we can then return to helping and advising each other rather than having to put up with an unfriendly tirade of rubbish every day.

Its still a very helpful and informative forum and there is no unfriendly intention at all,and if we are "a very small minority" don't let us bother you so much, its very easy to just not read our posts and get on with your life...
I think we make it more entertaining,we talk about things that are interesting to many,if your not interested that's fine, your choice, but we are.
And I'm not hiding,I'm just at home, and if I'm winding you up that's an unintended bonus!

The problem is that people rise to the bait (including me at times). If we all stopped responding to the “attention seeking idiots starting arguments by posting confrontational clap trap” (interesting to see that JJ did not disagree with your description) then the posts might stop.
Maybe they are triggered by boredom & loneliness...
I am going to just scroll past in future.

Attention seeking?? Boredom and loneliness? Speak for yourself! I urge you to not "rise to the bait" and please do scroll past, feel free to block me even then I won't be bothered with your petty over sensitive drivel, and it isn't "bait" its called a "debate"
If your going to take offense to everything and all you've got is name calling then its you that has the problem,if you don't agree you get offended and just want to make the offender go away because you have nothing to contribute to a debate,no come back
Your the ones that turn a debate into a personal attack and make it an issue

You're not winding me up JenJen but from your response that is clearly your attention seeking intention.
Sadly what you see as a debate is seen by many others as somebody looking to promote an argument which is simply spoiling what was once a pleasurable forum to belong to.
Most people post on here to ask questions and seek advice and where we can we respond with sensible helpful responses.
I will say no more on the subject as it is not my intention to join you in your so called debate.
Good afternoon.

Pointless post,I do give out helpful advice where I can, and have done since joining
Just don't bother joining us in a debate as you obviously don't have anything to contribute either, name calling, very childish
Pointless...
