Just come back from a trip to almeria and had a offer excepted in purchena. Really excited. Just wanted to know about taxes in spain and whether we have to pay anything when we move there on a permanent basis. We would also like to start to meet expats as well as locals. Any info would be gratefully received. Dawn
Hola.
Hi I'm Chris I've just joined the Purchena forum-Costa dear Almeria forum a big thanks to Jan thanks for taking me on board your forum.
I live in the beautiful village of Purchena I have lived here for four years now y I am overwhelmed by the kindness y friendliness of the local Spanish people here in Purchena I feel very privelidged to be here .
As I'm sure alot of you know that Purchena has all the shops y facilities that you need for day to day living without having to leave the village but it just got a whole lot better as a new Chinese shop has opened here in the village Bazar Purchena selling all the usefull things they stock so I think it's great.
Also the local Ferreteria here en Purchena has opened a new much larger shop with most of there goods now on display I think this is a great improvement as you can just go in y see what you want on display.
So I wish both shops all the very best in thier new ventures I will personally use both as there's so much on offer .I also think that Purchena is a great place to be y by the opening of these two new shops shows they see a great future here en Purchena.
Thank you for reading my mail y hope it is of some help. Christof de Purchena

Hi,
I'm not 100% sure yet but, my partner, my cat and I might end up needing a lift from Almeria airport to Purchena this Sunday (5th March) at O9.30 in the morning. Do you, or do you know anyone who does these journeys and how much it would cost?
I will know wether this ride is needed by Saturday morning at the latest.
Grts, Barbara
We are looking to relocate from London to Purchena or nearby and want some advice on how easy it is to find work. We are both 48 years old and very active and would consider part-time as well as full-time jobs. My background is in property rentals and administration for the past 25 years and my fiancé is a lorry driver. Any advice would be welcome.
I am looking for bus services to and from purchina and Tijola
