Hi Dario, I reckon the slight majority of people in the UK who supported Remain haven't the stomach to fight for rejoining the EU at the moment. I believe the Rejoin people will fight, but it will take a few years.
1. The formality cessation of EU membership begins at 11.00pm UK time (I undersand there will be bugle blowing and a few speeches and an address to the nation from Mr Johnson).
2. The true negotiations of Brexit will start shortly and this is where the real arguments will take place.
3. I understand negotiations may not be completed by the end of 2020. If so they will continue into 2021.
4. Scotland is waiting almost centre stage and Mr Johnson will eventually have to approve another referendum there which will see a split from the UK.
5. The Welsh nationalists are waiting in the wings.
6. I can't predict what will happen in Northern Ireland.
7. The people of the UK (well England and probably Wales) will eventually be on their own. The deals with Commonwealth countries will come into play which will only be foreplay as the UK must deal with the EU it's nearest neighbour. If you can't agree a shared fence with your next door neighbour, you certainly are not going to negotiate the same fence with somebody else living in another housing estate.
