Hi all,

I know we can get PCR tests done at EV Medical in Vera, but worried that if the ferry is delayed at all, the tests may be out of date. Does anyone know anywhere near the Santander port where we can get ones done at all?

Many thanks in advance. Going back in August when hopefully Spain will be green!

We are coming back in July. Brittany ferries seriously need to look into these kind of situations. I have contacted them and all they say is that they are looking into it. Best of luck.

Yes, I saw what the CEO said. I really do hope they can set up a testing centre at the port. Surely that shouldn’t be too hard, should it?

But don’t you need a full PCR test to enter the UK?  That usually takes 24 hours.  Or you planning to get there 24 hours before sailing?

No, I’ve just looked and the lateral flow or antigen are also acceptable. So anywhere in Santander these can be done prior to the sail?

Lateral flow test kits are freely available in the UK. They have a long shelf life. I don't see why those living in the UK cannot take sufficient with them to use at the appropriate moment in Santander, or other exit port.....

I have noticed a company called Quironsalud in Santander. They advertise on their website as doing antigen tests. Might be worth contacting them. Let us know how you get on. quironprevencion.com

I would be very happy with this, but the U.K. government insists you have to get one in situ. Plus we live in Spain.
