Is anyone else in the same situation as I am?
We are in Vera for the winter, and I depend on medication
I brought plenty with me, but now that we are locked down and the ferries are cancelled
Called my doctors in UK and they say they will not issue prescriptions abroad
The situation seems to be that I cannot get a prescription and I cannot get home
I do not know what to do for the best
If you take your medication (or the packaging) to the chemist you will be able to buy a month's worth.
It is a little bit expensive but you will be able to get what you want.
If the restrictions lift, you should be able to get a prescription from a doctor using your EHIC card (also take your passport).
I don't know your circumstances regarding your entitlement in the UK but if you are on free prescriptions, you will be able to claim back any expense back from the DWP. Also check your insurance if you have any>
