My partner and I used the land train from Vera playa club hotel to garrucha but tried getting back on at the same stop later that day but was told it didn't go back to Vera from that stop, anyone know where you get back on in garrucha to return to Vera playa please as we will be going back quite soon.
It used to be just down the slip road into the port, facing the fish market.

Yep as above! I think there's 2, one that goes somewhere else? Confused the hell out of me and another couple a few years ago when we thought we'd missed it.
Can I hijack this thread a bit and ask what the best non toruist trap seafood restaurants are in the Garrucha port area these days?

What did you do? Just wait for the next one or get back another way?
P.S. thanks for the response

We realised it probably wasn't the one we wanted as it was 30 mins earlier than we both thought it was supposed to leave (I got a timetable from the hotel) and waited and luckily the right one came at the right time!
Stupid on our part really, it was just scary seeing one pull away early as we were all walking towards the stop.

Don't know what time of the year you will be here but from mid June to mid Sept the bus from Vera Playa runs later into the night. You can catch it on the promenade just a little way down from the slip road to the port and if you get off the stop after the Consum it's a short walk down Hotel St back to the hotel or alternatively there is a taxi rank on the paseo.

Just an update we used the land train last night at around 7pm and it took us from Vera Playa to Garrucha and after an hour there we waited for the return journey for over 2 hours, so we decided to try and book a taxi, we tried lots of places like bars and restaurants etc and no one would book for us, we phoned the hotel and they said they could not phone for us as they were not allowed, finally at 11:30 we found a pizzeria that would order a taxi, what a nightmare, never using the land train again

If you want a timetable for the bus you can download it from the Baraza website.

Can you get the timetable for the tourist land train on that website?
Thanks again

No. To be honest have never seen a timetable for it. All I know is it's very hit & miss.
