Hi Dario
Immediately down from the park after AlAndalus Hill on the way to the beach, there is a metal frame which used to have a poster on it but doesn't now. It looks awful and underneath it, someone has dumped a mattress. Also people walk through the park there and let their dogs crap on the footpath and don't clean it.
We have two dogs and a) they don't crap on paths or concrete and b) we clean up after them. So it really annoys me when other don't. It gives all dog owners a bad name 😟.

Thanks for that - so this is all down at Vera Playa, close to Buganvillas.
Let’s see what I can do ... don’t hold your breath ... but I’ll try

That's fine. Most of the area is clean. There will always be some rubbish in every country. Our complex is kept immaculate. The gardeners are always doing something here. The dog dirt is lazy owners who think someone else should pick up after them. Those sort of people are everywhere.
There is so much beauty around here. I spend my time looking at that. 🙂

The photo you posted is of this site on the north west side of Vera-Playa, but there are currently builders working there (on preparations for the train line I think) so the garbage is gone now I think:
https://www.google.com/maps/@37.2391271,-1.8255056,157m/data=!3m1!1e3
There's an app that the municipality promoted in which you can take photos of issues so that they can be reported with the geographic location. I can't remember what it's called but the major problem for me is that the app could not be installed on an Android phone that has it's country set to something else than Spain, and the Google Play Store doesn't let you change that at will either.
I cycle a lot on a MTB and I see/know just about all the spots with garbage. I've also seen cars dumping garbage. It's impossible to not see garbage spots even if one doesn't cycle, such as on the road from Puerto Rey to Mercadona:
https://www.google.com/maps/@37.2125176,-1.8233003,156m/data=!3m1!1e3
Most garbage is dumped in the north side of Vera-Playa behind the hills where there are abandoned roads (probably because they were built too close to the slightly radioactive area) along all the roads between Cañada del Jatico and Av. Aloe Vera:
https://www.google.com/maps/@37.2361625,-1.8163193,224m/data=!3m1!1e3
Here is another one at the north-west end of Puerto Rey that has been cleaned up once but it is already filling up again:
https://www.google.com/maps/@37.218384,-1.8144035,156m/data=!3m1!1e3
Here is a large one in Palormares:
https://www.google.com/maps/@37.2508726,-1.7772674,154m/data=!3m1!1e3
So those are just some of the Mirador de Basura locations in Vera.
I think a good municipality (or any form of leadership for that matter) should be pro-active and not re-active. They should send workers out to scout for issues and police to fine offenders, so that the fines offset the costs involved.

With the best will in the world the barren and littered landscape of Almeria could never be called beautiful. Yes wonderful scenery with sea views and lovely sunrise and sunsets but not beautiful . No greenery or trees , rivers or lakes . Sorry , nice , lovely and warm etc but not beautiful. And anywhere you go off the main playas their will be dumping . We have a huge problem in rural areas in the uk so it’s a problem everywhere . Good luck with catching the culprits . Are the fines heavy if caught tipping ?
