Building work in Vera Playa

Hi everyone
We are planning to book a week's holiday in Vera Playa in May. At first we thought of the Club Hotel but have since discovered Hometogo which lists dozens of apartments to rent. We had a close look on Google maps (as you do) and it looks like some groundworks have begun just off the roundabout in front of the Club Hotel. Does anyone know if this is underway and if it is noisy enough to disturb what we would like to be a peaceful break? Very grateful for any advice, thank you

sorry to disappoint but the words ¨peaceful, quiet, tranquil and serene¨ can never be used in the same sentence when describing Spain.

Good point! We've been a number of times to other places but not yet this one. Just wondered. Thanks for your reply

Are you set on Vera? Mojacar has some lovely hotels that are not fenced in by hundreds of holiday homes..... just a thought....

Thanks for your reply - yes, this time we would like to be in Vera Playa. It's been on the wishlist for quite some time
