Buying an apartment in Urbanazion Pueblo Salinas -
We are just going through the purchase process for a 2nd floor apartment and wondered if anybody had instructed a full structural survey when buying on this development?

never heard of anyone getting a survey on any building especially blocks! If we had seen how they were building ours then we would have thought twice about buying it and the worse thing is no maintenance works carried out since they were built even though shed loads of money paid out by occupants.
NO contingency funding here either all money goes out to cover bills but nothing put aside for future works like redecorating.

Not wrong there - the large urbanización we are in has had building / redecorating works authorized and homeowners have to pay 600€ A MONTH extra over and above their normal community fees for 10 months.
The repainting etc has been costed at 600.000€ but the money the management company are taking in is at least double that - and that’s over and above normal fees.

Good Jeez Dario
Did that expense not have to be authorized by the members of the urb. committee?
If it was not at an AGM then your reps are getting a fecking HUGE kickback.

Nope - the management company just dropped it on us. I’m guessing the big kickback option has legs.

trouble with that Dario is try selling with that debt to be payed out we have several companies owning flats in our residencia and they don't pay the normal maintenance. The committee are taking them to court but that also costs and takes a long time as you know. Moral is do not buy in a block.
