Hi all

I would like to share my experience and research

We are moving to Spain perm

I have ms 51 and taking early retirement.
firstly if your on any benefit back home you can transport some of them to Spain

PIP and ESA

ESA is unemployment where you medically unable to work

If you are applying for residencia and you are getting ESA contribution based  you can call the overseas team to request an s1 which retired people get as well  this s1 will get you into the Spanish health system free If you don’t work 6500 savings required or 12500 a couple

Once you get your residencia you then get your s1 registered

While waiting for residencia with your Ehic card you can contact a service call CATs who will register you for temporary medical care register with a doctor while waiting for residencia 30 Euro  once you receive residencia you can then register your s1

please reach out to me if you have any further questions
