Hello,  we are looking to purchase a property in the campo near to Velez Rubio.

Unfortunately we will be unable to connect to the grid so therefore will need to install an off grid Solar Panel System.

We have been looking at some Solar panel kits suppliers and wondered if anyone has had any experience purchasing these kits or with the company that we would be looking at to supply them,  https://autosolar.es/

Any advice regarding Solar Panels would be most welcome and appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Gail and Ian

Hi Gail and Ian,

After a lot of research I got my solar system in a kit from: https://www.rebacas.com

Very helpful, someone there speaks english, good support. Definitely recommend :)

If you have any questions feel free to PM me :)

Hi, we looked into putting solar panels into a property in Rubio, it's not just a simple job, you will also need the electrics in the house passed, if it is to be legal ?

Would this be an electrical inspection for an occupancy certificate ?

Currently looking at place further north but with existing solar system and wondering what paperwork to look out for

Not sure of the exact certificate,  but its classed as a new connection and the wiring, etc in the house has to be  to up to date standards

Hello, there is a technician that installs solar house systems just down the road in Chirivel. He doesn't have a sign or phone number posted, classic Spanish, but he is a legal and registered electrician and does several houses a month these days.

Anyone interested pm me and we can meet in Chirivel to put you in contact.
