Hi All

I have imported both my car and motorcycle from the UK.

As part of the import process my road tax was paid up till 31 December 2020.

I am therefore renewing my road tax for the first time and I am not sure what the procedure is. I live in Velez Blanco therefore I presume I need to go to the town hall and pay it there?

Ideally I would like to pay by direct debit going forward. Do I get the paperwork from the town hall to do this?

Any information on the sbject would be greatly appreciated.

I think I understand what you are saying now so you brought a uk car here and had it  matricalated last year and it's now due to renew the tax, I don't know about your town hall but Arboleas town hall you can put your tax renewal on a standing order and you also get five per cent discount

Hi, I have just done the same myself.  Take your vehicle documents to the Town Hall and they will issue you with an invoice, take this to your bank where you can pay the tax and set up a 'Direct Debit' for subsequent yuears.
