equiping a house
My husband and I have just bought a property and need to furnish it - beds, table and chairs, sofa and wondered best way to do this locally via new and secondand shops. Any tips for us?
Many thanks in advace PJ

Here we go!!!! We love Second-hand shops and our Mojacar apartment is thus furnished plus bargains from Arboleas Forum with all the Brits bailing out. We don't know what's up your way, the closest we know would be Albox. So there you have a huge one next to Longos as you leave town towards Huercal Overa. We love this one. Also in Albox there is a smaller Spanish one between Lidl and the BP garage. It says segundo mano. In the middle of Cucador there is The Attic, also excellent, and on www. This is not the ghastly junk shop Rastro on the main road to Huercal Overa. Then in Mojacar you have de Limas, also on www and the lovely Brian,.and another we find slightly cheaper just 10m away heading towards Red Cross. All of these deliver at a price and all will negotiate as they are usually holding items for sellers against commission and want to clear space.
Best of luck and hope you enjoy as much as we do.

Hi
Not sure if are sorted out yet or not, recently I furnished 2 apartments in Roquetas De Mar, used a company from Portugal who provide complete furniture packs, they delivered installed (ie. screwed things together) and removed all the packaging, good service from start to finish, contact name is Mike and the website is www.furnishyourabode.com , they are flexible on swapping and changing items as required.
Hope this helps
Regards
Mike
