you are under the tax limits but you are required to make a declaration of income to tell the tax man.  Consult an expert as the tax office can take money from your bank without permission if they feel you have not done the right thing.  Try Indalo partners in Parque Commercial for help.

I stand to correction, but I believe the taxable base has been reduced from 15.000€ per annum to 10.000€ per annum - I’ve just found this out the hard way.

Leon definitely needs assistance in filing the return as Spanish tax is becoming even more of a nightmare than it already was ..,

for advice i would think  nothing but for a tax declaration they have a set fee but of course you are outside the time for that so not sure what they would charge now.

Thanks Dario,  You know the hardest thing Im finding with this residency is that coming from the UK where once your in the system almost every thing else happens automaticlly. Here no one  tells you that okay now you need to do this ! And now this month they took 25% off my pension from my bank account  grrrrrr  (Need to find a not expensive tax person  haaaaa)

Leon

Antonio Torres in Mojacar just up from the mercadona (dont know the name of the actual road.  Speaks perfect English.  You pay tax over here on your state pension and any private pensions if they are not government occupational ones.  I think the personal tax allowance over here is less than 10,000.  His charges are around 50 euros.  You might get his phone number if you put his name up on google.  You could need an appointment in this covid climate.  Good luck.

They said they  could investigate the issue for 60er which I agreed to and asked for an appointment to take in papers etc and low and behold they seem to be ignoring my emails. So back to square one
