applying for resident status
Can anyone recommend someone to help and advise on applying for residence.Just want to get it right first time.Preferably in Turre.
Why not go and speak to GL Expat Services in Turre.
If you look back about 20 posts you will see info from DarioMartin which is really informative although it encompasses Healthcare.
Best Wishes,
Bob and Sandra
Mojacar Playa and Puerto Lumbreras
Gestoria Salvador on Mojacar Playa did it for us, they told us everything we needed to provide, then someone came with us to the foreign office in Almeria.
Many Thanks, John.

Hola - just completed this. I used Verasesores in Vera, however, they speak NO English. (How to learn Spanish quickly!!)
I can at least tell you that you will need:
Proof of income or proof of ownership of property or proof of an average balance per person in your Spanish bank account of 9.250,00€. Also, copy of Padrón issued within previous month for each person, original valid passport, either proof of acceptance on Spanish health system or proof of private health insurance. These are the main big ones. If you are applying as a family, please ensure your marriage certificate is translated into Spanish by a judicial Spanish translator here in Spain. I can recommend TraducSur here in Vera, but also C.A.T services in La Alfoquia.
You’d also be wise to ensure you have two photocopies of everything .......
Saludos, Darío

you are best to use a gestoria - call into Linnetts in Turre and see Rosaria. They will be able to give you advice. Good luck.

That I am unfortunately unable to tell you - as my wife has a business and pays Autónomo, that qualified me to get on the Spanish Healthcare system. I would say that you would need at a minimum the level of cover offered by EHIC if you were on Holiday
