Best and worst of Turre - Page 2

Yep it's obviously a popular place. I think there are probably a load of places through Spain that can justifiably claim to offer more than Turre, but what matters is what the people, like you, who live there think. In fact that's all that matters. Must admit, I've been a fan of the Adelina for years and there's a really good curry house there too.

Turre has everything you need, brillant Supermarkets, best meat counter, lots of bars and resturants, bottle of house wine 9 euro. Bus station to all the beaches and airport available in the centre of town. Everything within walking distance. 

With respect, that's a bit generic - exactly the same points - all of them - could be said of Vera, especially "Best meat counter" with Carniceria Jose having the reputation as THE best butcher around - Icelands get their meat from him.

Turre is a nice enough place, the property prices are certainly low, there is an active migrant community, but despite what you say about buses, it is not really well served by public transport

Airport i doubt it

That would be the shuttle bus exclusive based in Turre. Apart from that for beaches car or taxi I think . Love the Friday market 

David62 hit the nail on the head. Wherever you enjoy living is for you. Turre doesn’t get the best of press, but if it ticks your boxes, then go for it.

Thinking out loud, if I had my purchase experience in Mojacar Playa again I’d likely plumb for a different type of property where I wouldn’t be dependent on rentals to keep me above water. Financial security is king when you are pushing on.
