Hi Leon

Both myself and my hubby get our state pensions sent direct to our bank here (Sabadell).  No problems so far with last week being the latest deposit. So, perhaps it would be best for you to contact the pensions office in the UK.  Good luck.

Hi,   Thanks for the reply,  contacting them is not the easiest thing to do. Im trying but at least you have told me that the system is still working.

The way things are over there you just never know .

Thanks

They stop sending if they have sent you a proof of life form and you don't reply. Any chance your post could be at a previous address

Does anyone have a way of contacting the DWP in the UK? Non of their correspondence seems to carry a phone number we can reach from abroad, or an e-mail.

I have sent letters in the past and never got a reply or acknowledgement that they received them so I would prefer to send an e-mail.

Thanks.  Janice

I’ve always found the pension office easy to deal with. Always helpful and knowledgeable. The number is, 0044 0800 731 7898. Obviously you may have to omit the zero before 8 if calling from abroad. Usually takes about 10 minutes to answer but have been answered quicker than that. Cost was about €4 for 20 minutes on Spanish mobile but you may have a cheaper way of doing it.

Hi.

Thanks for that I wondered why I was having trouble calling  them . I didn realise you had to put a 00 before 44.
