Well I finally got the bank account thing done,another box ticked.They did have to cut down another tree for the paper work though lol

I have a Santander Bank account over here. 

On going into my local branch the other day I was told that my account could be frozen as my passport details where out of date. Apparently over here, if you renew your UK passport you need to take it into your local branch so they can take a photo copy and send it to Head Office for your records to be updated.
