Hi, i have the chance to buy in seron.. Is it right for me? - Page 2

Have a look at Garrucha lovely Spanish fishing village, bus routes to Vera, Mojacar and up to the Pueblo getting off at the Commercial Centre to change buses. Lovely Beach, good cafes and restaurant's and you can walk or cycle along the front to Vera playa.  

Check or rightmove spain or, google flats for sale Garrucha lots will come up.

I have had  a place in Seron for 16 years, just on the outskirts, peaceful place. I use it for holidays. It is a good place but I appreciate most people prefer a concrete jungle on the beach.     

Would you rent first?  We're planning on visiting to rent for 6 months before buying and are looking at areas like Lubrin, Bedar, Seron, etc.  Finding it difficult to find suitable rentals in Seron though?  I'll keep looking....

I would rent first. I am over there this weekend. The problem with Seron is that there isn't one decent estate agent that covers this area, so hard to sell or buy. I have an English friend who knows a lot of people there, speaks with all the Spanish and would know of places to rent. Property in Seron can be cheap. Best restaurant is at bottom of hill next to a coviran, think it is called Pedro's. If you are over there on a Sunday have arroz for starter (paella). The problem with renting in Spain for people like me is I think tenants have too many rights, my place is refurbished and rentals are so so cheap there is no point in doing it. 

I certainly don’t want a concrete jungle!!!! Rural, local with nice walks. And people for me to practice my Spanish 😁
