Viewing a property next month, with serious intentions to purchase it, need advice on where to buy beds, oven and hob, fridge freezer etc locally.

We also want to get ceiling fans and lights installed,

We want to get a wrought iron grill made for the front door as security when we are not in property,

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Will you have transport as you will need to shop around? Will you have internet available? Send pm if you prefer.

Also suggest you get a copy of The Almeria Focus-Monthly free Magazine & Directory. It's usually available in Brit shops like Iceland, Vera PC Playa, Mojacar and other such. Also 2 free english language papers, Euro Weekly News and Sol Times. Liads of adverts although after 3 years we tend to avoid Brit. firms where poss. Always shop around. Remember Google Translate.

Best of luck and be on your guard.

Hi bob,

We are coming over for 4 nights, viewing the property, will decide if we want to purchase or not then.

We have a hire car sorted and a new GPS, so should have no problem finding places to buy goods etc

I will have internet on my phone, so will be able to look at websites etc

We are returning in May for 2 weeks to either finalise the sale or if not to look at other properties.

Thanks for your reply, saw on another posting that you said the property market over there was depressed because of the worries and uncertainrty of brexit, the estate agents tell you different, will go in with a lower bid and haggle for a better price as we are cashbuyers and the property is a bank repo.

Any other advice would be welcome

Thanks again
