Hi all. Can I introduce myself. My names john and I stumbled across the forum through Google search. Appears very helpful.

Me and my wife Lynda are coming over to SJDLT for a week in September to have a look at some properties. Staying in Mar Del Pulpi development. Were coming over with an open mind just to see the area and what's available. Our plan would be to buy a rentable property that could cover some of the running costs. I plan on taking early retirement in 8 years when I'm 60 and spending a few months at a time there.

Looks like there's lots of new developments springing up in SJDLT but also lots of resale's.

Can I ask what the markets like at the moment. Prices look fairly low so less of a risk. Im also aware of taxes on top.

 Is this an up and coming area. Also interested in PV. What would be members recommendations.  As I mentioned were coming over to see the area, might love it might not.
