We have been a permanent residents in Almeria for 12 years or more with our own reasonably large villa, pool and gardens - Are now considering downsizing to a 2 bed ground floor apartment on Mar de Pulpi where we would spend 10 plus months a year ( maybe go on holiday in July and August !! )
We know the area well but don't know if many people live there on a permanent basis so would be interested in any feedback

We moved to San Juan last September and yes there is quite a few permanent residents and still facilities available during the winter..still lots going on and a beautiful place to explore.

We have a ground floor property on fase 3.
Unfortunately I have to work so only get out about 6-7 weeks a year
The town is relaxed. The resort is really quiet in the winter, but I am presuming that will probably change as the area develops.
