Shipping household items into Spain from outside the EU / UK - Page 2

I had to do it in a hurry when I was back in Spain. We were only advised that it was an issue by the Spanish freight agent when cargo was en route. The biggest problem we had was getting an appointment for the Residencia. In Barcelona, where we were based at the time, there was a six week plus waiting list. We ended up having to go to La Coruña and got everything sorted in a morning. My Partner is Spanish and very pushy which helped. It might be easier and quicker for you if you use one of the agents recommended here. Also I do not know how long the waits are in this region. I hope all goes well.
