Hi.  What’s the general mood in the area?  I’m a bit more inland and due to be out the 1st week in April.  Unless told otherwise we will travel but if everywhere is on curfew or closed it might not be worth it.

It’s unlikely to happen. Flights into Spain have been stopped, yours will be cancelled, it’s unlikely to be back to normal by then. You’d be wise to assume you can’t get here.

I had planned to visit the U.K. in April but it will most likely be in a similar lockdown by then.

You’d like to think so, but there is still talk of “herd immunity” being the answer.

If that is the case and the virus is allowed to run rampant through the population, it’s not too much of a stretch to see Spain and indeed all of Europe closing their borders to UK travelers.

Thanks for getting back to me.  Mentally we're not travelling, but Ryan Air are keeping their powder dry and stringing it out.  Looks like they are cancelling only a few days in advance at a time rather than a set block of weeks.

That's my worry.  Could see us restricted into many countries for several months.

Easyjet are also cancelling bit by bit, though I do understand why. My flight, 1/4 to Murcia, has just been cancelled but the next one, 3 days later,  is showing as on. I doubt that will last.

I think sadly, that this will put a severe crimp in the plans of many who desired to get here before end of transition period.
