Years ago we had a full load.from logontommy and we are still using. However we do.supplement with soft wood (pallets). Then of course it's which wood and how much you would use your fire/s. Eucalyptus burns really fast, then Orange, Olive, Almond in that order.

If you were to contact Logontommy I'm sure he would advise. Been here for years. Look back and you will see a post for Chimney Sweep which he also does. A kind person has posted his contact details. Also take into account the SIZE of fire as don't want to be cutting up oversize logs; also ability to store out of rain.

Best Wishes,

Thank you Bob I have been looking at his website this morning. I couldn't work out how much a full load was. I also suppose that usage is subjective as well depending on how much you feel the cold.

And the efficiency of your log burner. We collect pallets in the truck and chain saw them up for.kindling and to supplement. Let's hope it's not too cold a winter. We find Feb the coldest usually. Tend to use apt more in winter as coast is warmer.

Stay warm.
