Septic tanks & Pozo Nosta help

The well you refer to is an old fashioned septic tank. Works in a similar way allowing liquids to soak in to the surrounding soil, but does not have seperate chambers which the modern septic tank has. The law recently changed that all new constructions have to be a modern style. We purchased last October and we have the old style, this was never raised by our solicitor.

Whilst your solicitor is acting in good faith for you,minimising any future cost, if you really want the property ask him to back off, or your seller may consider this an extra bit of arm twisting to reduce the property price, and walk away.
