I am having a trench dug in the garden and have had to take up around 60m of tiles. We thought we had found replacement tiles but as you will see from the photo .. the new one is larger (45cm) and darker. We need the 41cm square ones. If anyone knows where we might be able to get them from ... that would be a great help. The tiles are called Monococcion

The best place I know is in Albox. If you go into albox from the Arboleas road, past Mercadona and up the hill. At the crossroads at the top(known locally as suicide corner) Turn right and about 200yds down on the right is a yard. The guy there bought up loads of tiles during the building boom and has them in piles around the yard. He is also very knowledgeable so you can take a bit of old tile and he will likely identify it. If you take the tile you need and the name to VeraSur in Vera (by Iceland) they may be able to source some for you. They managed to source some tiles for us when we had to do some repairs when no one else could. Or you could try Sola just out of Zurgena toward Palaces
