Lack of Taxis in Mojacar

Probably because there isnt the need and/or the number of taxis available is too many ie too many chasing too few customers.

Could be they dont want the hassle connected with late night drinkers/drunks, who knows.

Back in the UK I drove taxis, had passengers do runners, throw up in the car and refuse to pay the excess, take food into the car and mess up everywhere, ask to be dropped at the late night pizza/kebab place for take aways.

Argue about the fare, get abusive, mates join in and the situation get threatening, 

Ok not everyones a sinner but neither are there saints, would you want to get into any of the above ?

Short of setting up a private hire set up which involves loads of advertising, business cards just to get going, your ideas about setting up on your own are laudible but maybe you need to do some research first into how many have done that and failed, best of luck either way

I have found out what the problem is.

Taxis respond quickly to a call from a bar or restaurant. They will not worry about an individual. 

In the winter they answered on but their God is the restaurants in the summer.

They will miss me in the winter when they need clients!
