We are hoping to move to Mojacar.

Can anyone recommend a good English speaking 2nd hand car dealer.

Also what is the preferred car make and what is the most popular manual or automatic gearbox/petrol or diesel.

Many thanks in advance

Yes - Harry Zarb, Gómez Ford in Huércal-Overa; native English speaker.

Car - many makes / Marques but lots of Peugeot / Citroen / Seat about.  Manual seems to be more prevalent than auto and Diesel appear to be more prevalent than petrol; Diesel fuel isn’t hugely expensive here and of course diesels are way more economical that petrol.

Hi Jan

Now the group of ladies who carried out sewing and alterations etc have left Mojacar we were concerned as we needed to have the covers for the 2 settees remade as they were showing their age.  We found a marvellous lady in Albox which took me 30 minutes up the motorway towards Murcia but the journey was well worth it. She did a truly great job and kept in contact with progress. Her prices were really reasonable.  My sister in law had some curtains made, shop prices which I thought was extortionate

We really would recommend Mandy, a real find. If anyone would like her details we would be happy to pass them on.
