Spending a long weekend in Mojacar in April to celebrate a big birthday! Would like recommendations for nice places to eat out.

Good morning

I would recommend Bella Vista on the Playa, let them know that you are celebrating a birthday when you reserve a table.

The food is fantastic & the staff are great.

Bellavista consistently good, Torre Bahía, Neptuno but our favourite now is La Parata

Thank you both for your suggestions. We are looking forward to discovering a different part of Spain. We aren't travelling far - We live on the Costa Blanca!

Hi. If you like seafood and/or enjoy a more Spanish ambience there are some fabulous restaurants down the road in Garrucha just by the port. Any of the busy ones will be good.

Thank you Juliet. We will go to Garucha but unfortunately I don't like seafood!

Hi,

Just to reiterate Bella Vista is wonderful for a celebratory meal they will really look after you. Get a table by the window to enjoy the fabulous view!

For something really special I would definitely go with LMJ18  and choose La Parata where Richard and Louisa will do you proud.  Check the reviews on Trip Advisor for detailed comments about the food.  Bellavista is OK but so much bigger than La Parata that it's the difference of a meal between prepared and presented by Chef Richard for you personally and the staff in a big kitchen cooking for a mass catering establishment.

I would agree, the reviews sound great. Unfortunately my birthday is on a Sunday and I would prefer my celebration meal in the evening which excludes La Parata sadly.

In that case, my second choice would be Torre Bahia.  I witnessed a birthday celebration there and it looked really good. I think it is open on Sunday nights.
