My (almost) 92 year old mother will be in need of some additional help at home. We have a daily carer / cleaner but more assistance is needed with additional visits, cooking and general welfare. I would like to understand who is out there and who is currently assisting other individuals who are at a more comfortable distance from the apocalypse than probably many of us are today......

You mother would be entitled to home help from your local town hall. Contact the social worker there.
Hi my name is Jean and i have been a carer in the uk before moving to Spain, i know live in Garrucha. I have a question about the number of hours that would be required per day, eg would it be more than 2 at any one time ?, please could you let me know.
