Has anyone any experience of pool heater pumps?

I want to buy a pool heater pump (inverter type) so we can use our pool in the winter months,  Frankly, the cost of a few extra days’ heating is not particularly material.

Has anyone any experience of this?  I know we will need a decent pool cover etc. (like bubble-wrap) but I want to hear from those that have installed and used something similar.

In particular (as it is an holiday house) how long a decent one would take to heat up, what needs to be done to keep it warm and what type of pool pump heater is best.

Thanks

We have had an inverter pool pump fitted by swim 365.

They are very professional,

We have been swimming throughout the winter. In the winter it went up by 2 deg a day,we also bought a thick cover which on a sunny day increased the heat by another 4 deg.

I would not hesitate in recommending them.

We live near Albox.

Hi,

I’ve just read your post requesting info on pool heaters.

Would you mind letting me know if you actually got one as we are also starting to investigate having moved here recently?

I must admit to not knowing the first thing about swimming pool heaters - except for the water is bloody cold without one!

Any info you can provide would be gratefully appreciated.

Thanks very much.

Brian

Hi Chris,

Thanks very much for making the time and the effort in replying to my post.

Very helpful and useful information, I will certainly be looking into that.

Hopefully, very shortly, no more cold/body numbing swims for me.

Cheers.
