I hope someone can help, I am having problems when I try to visit certain websites. These are sites that I have used for years and include some of the .GOV sites so nothing dodgy.

The message I get is this one:

Your connection is not private

Attackers might be trying to steal your information from arboleas.co.uk (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards). Learn more

NET::ERR_CERT_DATE_INVALIDAny help or advice on how I can overcome this problem would be much appreciated

Can’t overcome it - just click on either “advanced” or “go to site anyway” depending on your browser.

It’s occurring because the site certificate is out of date - they generally only last a year and site admins either haven’t noticed or haven’t got round to renewing them yet

Hello,

Got to agree with Dario, however you should also find out how to make your internet browser secure too? It gets a little technical but there are lots of places to get information about your browser with easy to follow guides, including keeping your browser reasonably up to date. For all the good things in life there is someone willing to turn it to their advantage, so it is worth taking heed of any site access problems - as you did! :)
