Hello all. This is my first post. We are sailing from Portsmouth to Santander on 9 th December arriving on the 11th ( 2 nights )
Has anyone had experience of creating the QR code 48 hours before arriving in Spain? Which means in our case the day of departure! . I’m a bit nervous about the last minute nature of this, just in case of any problems!!

Yes, in June, and again in October, we took this sailing both ways. At the port, some people were experiencing difficulty getting the QR Code to show on their devices, either from a poor WiFi connection or not being able to find it and display it on their screens quickly. This slowed up the check-in procedure. It had been suggested to us that providing paper copies of the required documentation with the ferry ticket would be quicker. It certainly was! Both my hotels, en route to Portsmouth and Santander were helpful in printing the forms so I had both QR and paper copies available. Providing the paper copies meant that I didn't need to hand my device over to the Brittany Ferries representative to scan the code on their terminal.
